David is one of the four original founders of VenGrowth's retail funds. With over 20 years experience as a venture capitalist and an investment banker, he routinely assists investee companies in obtaining required funding. David has helped coach many venture-backed companies through their various growth phases and has overseen many successful exits.

For many years David has been an active participant on the board of directors of numerous VenGrowth investees. He routinely contributes his expertise in setting strategic direction, developing operating budgets, management recruiting and financing and exit strategies. Prior to joining VenGrowth, David was co-founder of a corporate finance firm, and was a member of the Corporate Finance Department of Nesbitt Thomson Deacon Inc.

David is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Western Ontario.
